Lenovo ThinkCentre M60q Chromebox review: Tiny, modern, and big on power
The ThinkCentre M60q Chromebox is one of the newest you can buy, and while it's versatile, and durable, it's also big on power

The spacious mid-tower chassis from NZXT received a moderate, yet cool, refresh.
NZXT has no shortage of PC cases, and among the latest to get a refresh is the NZXT H7 Flow RGB. It's essentially the same as the NZXT H5 Flow RGB I only just reviewed, but comes without the GPU-focused fan and more internal space. At the heart of the chassis is the usual NZXT H series affair with a stunning aesthetic, excellent cable management behind the motherboard tray, solid support for the latest graphics cards, AIO liquid coolers, and plenty of options for storage.
Sure it adds protection and customization to your laptop but it'll make your MacBook less comfortable to use in the process.
Laptop cases present an interesting tradeoff. Even the best laptop cases add some protection to your computer but come with unnecessary bulk. Theoretically, if you're careful, you shouldn't need a case for your laptop if you use the device at a table or desk often. But accidents do happen, and laptops — especially MacBooks — can be costly to repair. Casetify has tried to add protection to your MacBook while providing customization options that are more visually appealing with the MacBook Impact Case.
It's like having a dual-monitor setup, but portable
Whether it’s the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold with its foldable screen, or a Surface Pro tablet that was released in the early 2010s, Windows never seems to work well on a new form factor. In most cases, I’ll walk away from the review saying the product is good for a certain niche, but I’m looking forward to getting back to a real laptop. The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is a different story though, because this thing is shockingly good.
The AmpliFi Alien from Ubiquiti is a quick Wi-Fi 6 router with a sleek design and excellent, easy-to-use software.
AmpliFi isn’t the first name to come to mind regarding WI-Fi routers, but if you’ve been gravitating towards sleek and simple mesh solutions like eero and Nest Wifi, AmpliFi should be on your radar. I love the matte black design that stands out with its green underflow and touchscreen. The Alien looks good enough to leave front and center and with night mode shutting off the lighting at night, it’s not bothersome when watching TV in the dark.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is better than ever as it enters its 11th generation.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is Lenovo's flagship premium business ultrabook, sitting at the top of the best Lenovo laptops alongside the convertible ThinkPad X1 Yoga. The X1 Carbon is now in its 11th generation, and Lenovo has truly refined the look, feel, and performance of this device. This is the laptop I always recommend first to busy professionals, with a caveat concerning the high price.
I tried Apple's $3,500 mixed reality headset, and it left me in awe. Now, is it worth the price? Only you can make that call.
Apple's long-rumored mixed reality (MR) headset, the Vision Pro, is here. Well, sort of. It was announced yesterday at WWDC, and I got to wear the headset for about 25 minutes today, but it isn't going on sale until "early next year," and its $3,499 retail price is going to be the point of much contentious debate.
macOS Sonoma makes your Mac fun to use in so many new ways.
Each year, the best Macs get even better with a new macOS update, with a preview first hitting the scenes in the summer. This year, that update is macOS Sonoma. Currently in developer beta, it is the follow-up to last year's macOS Ventura, which delivered productivity-boosting features like Stage Manager. macOS Sonoma, though, isn't about groundbreaking new features. Rather, this update is designed to tweak the core features of your macOS experience and make them fun to use.
Great price, great thermals, and great to build a PC with.
The Meshify 2 from Fractal Design is an excellent case for the price. It offers vast amounts of internal space so you can install just about anything, and thanks to the large mesh front panel, you'll have no problem cooling even the best processor and graphics card. But not everyone requires that much space, which is where the Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact comes in. As the name implies, it's a more compact version of the Meshify 2.
The Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra is a webcam with a huge sensor that delivers the best quality on a webcam. But is that enough to justify its price tag?
Razer introduced the Kiyo Pro Ultra back at CES touting the largest sensor ever in a webcam, which immediately got my interest. There's definitely a need for better webcams in this day and age. Laptops have been getting better, but they're not quite there yet, especially with some brands like Dell XPS still using 720p sensors.
Asus' latest ExpertBook B9 and B5 come with OLED displays and a lightweight design, plus all the features you'd want in a business laptop.
Asus may be best known for its gaming hardware, and while I've given the ROG Ally and other ROG products their time to shine, the company had a whole separate booth for its home and business-oriented products at Computex 2023. The company had two of its latest laptops at the show, the ExpertBook B9 OLED and ExpertBook B5 OLED, so I took the opportunity to check them out on the show floor. I also got to see the recently-launched Zenbook S 13 OLED, which looks fantastic.
At Computex 2023, Asus ROG showed off its brand-new liquid metal-cooled Matrix RTX 4090 GPU, and it looks fantastic.
Asus had one of the biggest presences of any company at Computex, with dedicated booths for both its ROG division and its more home and business oriented products. Both of them were huge, too, and I've already gone over my thoughts on the ROG Ally, which is just one of the many things I got to check out at the ROG booth. But there's a lot more, and I wanted to talk about some of my favorite things here.
Asus is set to launch the ROG Ally later this month, and it had plenty of demo units at Computex so we could take it for a spin.
Asus announced the ROG Ally, a Steam Deck alternative, earlier this year, but it's only set to be available on June 13 in some markets around the world, so most of us really haven't had the chance to experience it yet. Thankfully, at Computex 2023, Asus had plenty of units for us to try, so, of course, we had to do exactly that.
The Legion Y32p-30 is a killer gaming monitor, and it also has features that help with a work-from-home setup.
4K gaming has become more popular as PC hardware gets more powerful, and the best 4K gaming monitors have kept stride to accommodate a more satisfying high-res gaming experience. Lenovo's Legion Y32p-30 gaming monitor was announced in late 2022, with a focus on hybrid use for gamers who also work from home. Shelling out upwards of $750 just to have some fun isn't always possible, but combining your monitor purchase into one that handles work and gaming? That's easier to swallow.
We got to meet with Gigabyte at Computex 2023 and check out some of the products the company has been working on.
Computex 2023 is the time many companies choose to highlight some of their coolest PC products. Gigabyte is one such company, and I was invited over to check out some of the stuff the company has been working on. Most of the newest announcements were focused on components, especially motherboards, but there was a lot I liked about what Gigabyte showed me at this event.
At Computex 2023, MSI had a huge booth showcasing a ton of the company's laptops, including the Raide GE78 HX Smart Touchpad.
MSI had some cool announcements at this year's Computex, focused heavily on its partnership with Mercedes AMG Motorsport with the new Stealth 16 laptop. But after that event, I got to check out MSI's booth at the show, and there's a lot more to see. Not all of it was announced at Computex, but MSI has some really cool stuff to show off at Computex, and I had some fun looking around at these products. Here are some of my favorites, but do note that it was very crowded so it wasn't always easy to get good pictures of all the products.
The Logitech MX Keys S Combo brings the new MX Keys S keyboard along with the popular Master 3S and a comfy wrist rest.
There's a lot that goes into finding the perfect keyboard and mouse combination for a great laptop or a great Mac, whether you prioritize connectivity, comfort, or price. Thankfully, there's the Logitech MX Keys S Combo, which can hit all three points.
The Logitech MX Anywhere 3S is a minor upgrade compared to its predecessor, but it's now quieter than ever and has a better sensor.
Every year, Logitech likes to refresh its existing product lineup, building on its heritage of making excellent computer accessories. The MX line of mice, for example, has always been perfect for those on the go with a great laptop or Macbook. With the MX Anywhere 3, you already get a perfect compact mouse with an excellent magnetic scroll wheel, long battery life, and an ergonomic shape that fits all kinds of hands. Now, the follow-up, the MX Anywhere 3S is here, and it... doesn't bring much new to the table.
Acer's Predator Triton 16 is more powerful than ever, but the Predator Orion X desktop is a really cool mini gaming desktop PC.
At Computex 2023, Acer introduced the Predator Triton 16, which, despite the name, isn't a totally new laptop. Much like the Swift series, Acer's gaming lineup is also being rebranded, and the company says the Predator Triton 16 is the successor to the older Predator Triton 300 SE. Its placement in the lineup is a bit confusing, and even Acer couldn't exactly tell me what each of the previous tiers of Predator laptops will become.
Acer introduced a new Swift Edge 16 at Computex 2023, and we got to try them out, along with the company's other products.
Ahead of Computex 2023, Acer introduced a couple of new laptops, the Acer Swift Edge 16 and the Predator Triton 16, along with a new router. Of course, being at the show, I had to spend some time at Acer's booth checking out the new Swift Edge 16, one of the most premium laptops in the company's lineup. though I also took a look at some existing products that are already hitting different markets.
Acer's latest Swift 14 adds 13th-generation Intel processors, a better webcam, and more.
I always feel like Acer's laptops are underrated. I'm always impressed every time the company sends me a new model, but when the discussion comes up over which are the best laptops, the company is frequently overshadowed by the likes of HP, Lenovo, and Dell. And that continues to be true with the Acer Swift 14, which took things up a notch from its predecessor, the Swift 5.
